Welcome to Pisa Guesthouse in the Heart of Reykjavik City Center!
Situated right in the center of Reykjavík, in the heart of the old town, our guesthouse offers a unique location to explore this vibrant city. The most important sites, such as the Reykjavík Lake, the main square, the Cathedral, the Parliament, the National Gallery are within a distance of only 20 to 50 meters. This is an area with interesting restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries.
Former name of the guesthouse is The Ugly Duckling but when the new owner decided to open up an Italian restaurant she thought it would be a good idea to change the name as well.
We take great pride in our friendly and personal service. The house is old and has a lot of character, but has been thoroughly renovated in the last years.
Downstairs we also have a Italian restaurant. There you can get a wonderful meal or a cup of espresso.
Pisa is a cozy guesthouse and our most important goal is to make our guests feel at home. The reception is at the restaurant on the first floor where the guests get a key to the house and the room and then have the flexibility to come and go as they please - at any time.
